Science & Market Research 2026

Why traditional websites struggle in 2026.

Independent studies from leading research institutes demonstrate: Without structured data entities and connected workflows, companies lose search traffic to generative AI and automated peers.

Gartner Research 25 %

Search volume decline via AI direct answers

Gartner predicts a 25% drop in traditional search engine query volume by late 2026, as users increasingly obtain answers directly within conversational AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). Websites lacking machine-readable entities lose their standing as primary citable sources.

Bitkom Digital Index 82 %

Productivity loss through media disruptions

Over eight out of ten SMEs suffer from siloed systems between e-commerce, ERP, and accounting. Manual data re-entry consumes an average of 12 worker-hours every single week and introduces operational errors.

W3C / Schema.org Standard W3C

Defective structured web data

A majority of commercial corporate websites carry incomplete or invalid Schema.org annotations. AI web crawlers therefore struggle to reliably associate business locations, primary services, and verified entities.

Citations in Generative Search Engines

Scientific research on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) demonstrates: structured semantic facts, verifiable citation sources, and authoritative schemas significantly enhance visibility in AI responses compared to unorganized HTML. Additionally, the emerging llms.txt standard allows AI agents to ingest curated markdown without token overhead.

Beyond Website Monitoring

Tailored System Integration & Process Engineering

For enterprises requiring seamless integration across ERP, accounting, telephony, and API pipelines. B2B operational experience since 2004 — with individual quotes following an initial consultation.

How to identify it

Ten baseline situations we encounter regularly.

Industry does not dictate whether mirdat fits — the technical situation does.

  1. Customer data is fragmented across multiple applications — and none is fully accurate.
  2. Product and master data are manually maintained in multiple places.
  3. Information is transferred between systems by hand via email or spreadsheets.
  4. Documents cannot be clearly attributed to their corresponding business transactions.
  5. Team members operate with conflicting versions of customer records.
  6. Business applications operate in isolation without automated bridges.
  7. Access permissions, roles, and administrative responsibilities have become opaque.
  8. Software updates and system changes risk halting everyday operations.
  9. Critical operational know-how is concentrated in the heads of single individuals.
  10. Repetitive manual tasks consume valuable hours without adding strategic value.

Recognize any of these challenges? Wherever customer records, products, transactions, documents, or access rights are managed, processes, interfaces, and automation opportunities emerge. That is precisely where mirdat delivers.

Services

Six Core Domains. One Cohesive Path.

No fragmented deliverables: Each domain represents a milestone along the same journey — from understanding workflows to technical search visibility and resilient operations.

01

Data & Master Data

A database is only valuable if it is accurate, maintainable, and verifiable — regardless of the software it lives in.

Typical Baseline

  • Customer, product, or transaction records duplicated across tools
  • Uncertainty over which database is authoritative
  • Data migrations delayed out of fear of data loss

mirdat Delivers

Ownership of an authoritative, clean master database: from audit to data modeling and tested migration — with clear maintenance governance.

Deliverable

  • A single source of truth instead of conflicting silos
  • Sustained data quality in day-to-day operations
02

Processes & Organization

Legacy workflows often survive only because staff manually bridge the gaps every day. We make visible how work truly flows — and how it should.

Typical Baseline

  • Multiple departments work with mismatched systems and overlapping responsibilities
  • Media breaks and redundant steps are routine
  • Documentation is missing or outdated

mirdat Delivers

Comprehensive mapping of current workflows, alignment of departmental requirements, and clear target process specifications — actionable with or without us.

Deliverable

  • Documented, transparent workflows with clear handoffs
  • A solid functional concept ready for management decisions
03

Systems & Interfaces

What matters is not the individual application — what matters is the process in between. Existing software is integrated and connected, not impulsively replaced.

Typical Baseline

  • ERP, office tools, and accounting run in separate silos
  • Data is copied manually between applications
  • External vendors fail to understand business logic

mirdat Delivers

Integration of existing applications via robust interfaces — including permission models, error handling, and audit trails. Practical experience in e-commerce and multichannel since 2004: connecting shops, marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Kaufland), ERP (including JTL), financial integrations (including Jera), and accounting workflows.

Deliverable

  • Data flows automatically, validated and logged
  • Reduced reliance on single individuals and proprietary vendors
04

Automation & AI

Assistance systems should relieve staff from routine tasks and support decisions — not replace human judgment uncontrolled. Fully hosted on-premises on request.

Typical Baseline

  • Calls and inquiries get buried during peak hours
  • Invoices and mail are sorted by hand
  • Strict confidentiality prohibits third-party cloud tools

mirdat Delivers

Controlled automation architecture: structured intake, smart document/email triage, and internal knowledge bases — deployed step-by-step with approval gates at every critical junction.

Deliverable

  • Zero lost inquiries or calls
  • Routine tasks run autonomously — ultimate responsibility stays with your team
05

Infrastructure & Hosting

Modifications to servers, networks, and production systems must never jeopardize ongoing business. Every cutover is planned, pre-tested, and equipped with a fallback.

Typical Baseline

  • System architecture has grown organically without documentation
  • Uncertainty whether backups actually restore in an emergency
  • Old and new systems must temporarily co-exist

mirdat Delivers

Architecture, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of resilient environments — on-premise, cloud, or hybrid — with role-based access, disaster recovery, off-hours deployment, and clean handoffs.

Deliverable

  • A controllable, maintainable, and fully documented IT environment
  • Verified backups and predictable maintenance
06

Technical Radar & AI Visibility

Visibility in Google, Gemini, and ChatGPT stems from solid technical architecture: loading speed, structured data, and unambiguous machine-readable entities.

Typical Baseline

  • Websites suffer from slow speeds, technical bloat, or hidden errors
  • Missing Schema.org structures block visibility in AI search engines
  • SEO agencies provide generic PDF slides without engineering fixes

mirdat Delivers

Independent technical evaluations on our proprietary SEO & GEO radar: Core Web Vitals, crawler hygiene, security headers, and llms.txt readiness — delivered clearly and fixed directly in code on request.

Deliverable

  • Measurable engineering fixes instead of abstract theories
  • Optimal indexation for both search algorithms and generative AI engines

Specialization

Every call, every email, every receipt is a workflow.

What gets lost is what never became a tracked transaction. We build systems that convert every inbound signal into an assigned, traceable workflow — recorded, routed, documented.

AI-Powered Telephony

The call that is never lost again.

The AI phone assistant handles calls during peak hours, when lines are busy, or after business hours. It greets callers under your brand, captures their inquiry with structure, creates the transaction, books appointments if desired, and routes the ticket to the responsible person. The next morning, there are no scattered paper notes — only complete, documented records in the system.

  • Every call answered and documented — 24/7
  • Clear boundaries: The assistant records and routes — decisions are made by your team
  • Privacy-first operations: Conversation data remains strictly under your control
  1. CallAnswered
  2. InquiryStructured
  3. TicketCreated & assigned
  4. AppointmentOr team handoff
  5. DocumentedTraceable

Mail & Receipts

From intake to automated approval.

Inbound documents and invoices are classified, matched to the appropriate transaction, and submitted to the authorized person for approval — instead of languishing in inboxes.

Inquiries & Emails

Presorted instead of buried.

Incoming inquiries are sorted, assigned to the relevant ticket, and forwarded with a generated draft reply to the team member. Final review and sending remain in human hands.

The same principle applies to purchase orders, claims, notifications, and applications: Where an input arrives, a workflow is born — and no workflow remains unassigned.

The Core Delivery

Bridging business requirements and technical engineering.

We uncover what departments truly need, translate those requirements into actionable engineering tasks, and guide the solution through day-to-day adoption. Especially where multiple stakeholders, diverse business functions, and legacy IT systems interact, this translation makes the difference between a project that succeeds — and one that stalls.

  • “We retype everything twice.”→Leading master database & data flow
  • “Nobody can locate the file.”→Unique record IDs & structured archiving
  • “Not everyone should see this.”→Role-based access & permission governance
  • “Operations cannot afford downtime.”→Safe deployment with pre-tested fallbacks

The Difference

AI and Hosting that never leave your premises.

Many promise data protection. We build so your data never has to leave your control in the first place: Systems, databases, and AI models run where you control them.

The AI Approach

Internal AI — on your own infrastructure.

Assistance and knowledge engines hosted entirely on-premises or in an ISO-certified German data center. Your documents, customer records, and operations never leave your perimeter — zero US cloud dependencies, zero data shared with model vendors.

  • Hosted locally or in Germany — verifiable, not just promised
  • Works directly with your internal documentation, transparent rather than black-box
  • Human approval gates at every critical step — AI assists, humans decide
  • Modular deployment, documented, and removable at any time

Hosting & Operations

Hosted and maintained in Germany.

Server environments tailored to your needs: on-premises, German data center, or hybrid — planned, deployed, monitored, and backed up from a single hand.

  • German data centers with GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements (DPA)
  • Regular patching, active monitoring, and verified disaster recovery
  • Secure remote access via encrypted VPN and tight permission controls
  • Zero vendor lock-in: your systems, your data, clean documented handoff

The proof is before you: This website loads zero third-party scripts — self-hosted typography, no tracking cookies, hosted in Germany.

Risk Governance

Implemented securely and transparently.

Change is controllable when it is thoroughly prepared. These principles apply to every mirdat project:

Data

Consolidated Fragmented Databases

Customer and product data lived across three applications — each with conflicting numbers.

Interfaces

Connected Two Disconnected Enterprise Systems

Employees manually retyped data daily between two systems never intended to communicate.

Automation

Structured Inbound Customer Service Triage

Calls and inquiries got lost during daily peaks — callbacks were forgotten, orders slipped away.

Fully CapturedEvery inquiry systematically routed and prioritized
Cutover

Replaced Fragile Legacy Core System

The legacy system had reached end-of-support — an outage during work hours would have halted all operations.

Zero InterruptionStaged deployment outside core operational hours with verified rollback

Concrete migration plans and architectures are explained transparently during initial technical consultations.

How Collaboration Begins ↓

Five Stages. Each with a Clear Deliverable.

No vague concepts, no blind leaps: Each stage has a defined scope, a tangible result, and an honest budget framework.

Workflow audit, inventory mapping across all systems, bottleneck and interface analysis, priorities, and structured transformation roadmap — delivered as a written report that belongs to you and remains actionable without mirdat.

    individual quote
  3. Pilot Project

A focused first step with immediate tangible value: conception and setup of an interface bridge, an automated workflow, partial data migration, or an isolated backup environment incl. functional validation.

    individual quote
  4. Full Implementation

The complete transformation — planned, tested, deployed with fallback safety, and clearly handed over. Quoted individually based on diagnostics.

    individual quote
  5. Continuous Maintenance

Monthly system maintenance, security and status monitoring, backup validation, minor adjustments, and a direct technical partner without a ticket queue — keeping your architecture resilient.

    by arrangement

All proposals are intended exclusively for business clients (B2B) and are quoted net plus statutory VAT.

mirdat accompanies transitions personally and accepts a limited number of projects per quarter. Not every inquiry is a match: If you only need a generic marketing website, seek the lowest hourly rate, or are well served by off-the-shelf software, we will say so openly in the initial consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions decision-makers ask first.

What does getting started with mirdat cost?

The initial consultation (15–20 min) is free. Because every enterprise brings unique systems, interfaces, and operational requirements, third-party system integrations and ongoing support are calculated transparently based on actual time & material or standardized system checks (from €490) — we do not offer rigid fixed-price setups for foreign environments. For continuous website monitoring, our transparent Radar guard plans apply (from €49 net / month or technical audit reports from €790).

Will operations be disrupted during a system migration?

Generally no. Cutovers are prepared, tested, and executed outside critical business hours — with built-in rollback contingencies. The primary goal is always zero or minimal disruption to daily operations.

Does our data remain in Germany?

Yes, 100% on request: either completely on-premises or within an ISO-certified German data center under a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA). This also applies to AI systems, which can run locally on your own hardware.

Who is mirdat designed for?

For mid-sized companies and organizations across the Münsterland, Osnabrück, and cross-border regions that operate multiple systems without a large internal IT department — from trading firms and property managers to institutions. Transregional projects by agreement.

How non-binding is an inquiry really?

Entirely: You receive an honest technical assessment — even if the conclusion is that you do not need mirdat. No sales lists, no third-party data sharing, no annoying follow-up calls. Furthermore, the questionnaire on this page transmits zero data to any server.

Does mirdat work with public authorities and non-profit institutions?

Yes. Our methodology is built for institutional accountability: transparent roadmaps, documented migrations, role-based permission concepts, disruption-free deployments, and clear training for internal teams.

Non-binding Consultation

Inquiring costs nothing. Literally.

You don't need technical jargon — structuring requirements is our job. Choose your preferred way to connect:
